A superb 1918 Fokker DR1 Triplane Replica. Constructed to Ron Sands drawings in the USA by one of the top First War aircraft specialists.
The entire structure is finished and complete. The Triplane requires fabric covering, fuel oil tank, alloy panels, cowlings and plumbing to complete. Presently fitted an 0.360 Lycoming engine mount but can be supplied with a Warner 165 Scarab radial engine propellor and engine mounting ring. Includes a full drawing set, data file, period instruments, replica guns, controls and fittings. This is a first class project that was acquired by a professional specialist aviation company for a Hollywood First War film production that was permanently cancelled.
