Freshly Overhauled Electric Drivetrain (December 2024):
Full upgrade carried out by Geiger Engineering to make the hardware compatible with the newest firmware. New motor control board, new SDI, new motor cone with temperature sensor. Only ~12 operating hours since the upgrade — equivalent to a brand-new 2024 system.
Battery:
60 Ah Geiger battery from 2024 with only 20 charge cycles. Never discharged below 20%, never stored at full charge. Always handled with care. A second battery is optionally available.
Ballistic Rescue System:
GRS Galaxy 4 240, installed January 2025. Same system as used in the Swift 3. Next repack: August 2030. 30-year service life.
Efficient Drivetrain with Large Helix Propeller:
With two batteries at 50% capacity, I can achieve 1,900 m of climb, with an estimated additional ~1,500 m of residual climb remaining (battery has never been fully depleted, so this is an estimate).
VZmax Trailer:
Aluminium/PVC trailer specifically developed for the Swift-Light. 750 kg capacity with overrun brake.

Winter 2025/26: Improved aileron pulley by Philip Trueman installed. Long dipole radio antenna permanently fitted. Red winglet decals added.
Winter 2024/25: New hammock seat & shoulder harnesses, new front & rear tires, new brake pads, new canopy windows, new cockpit control cables, cork control grip with PTT button for radio. Custom-made control grips with standard sailplane colour code.
Spring 2024: Inspection by type custodian, new rudder cables.
Manufacturer support is excellent.
